This section provides an overview of the projects that researchers of the College are engaged in apart from their regular research activities.
Bringing together sociologists, anthropologists, biologists, ecologists and modelers, this international project seeks to mobilise and test the concept of multispecies assemblages for understanding and politically addressing biodiversity decline in two regions: The Gulf of Gabès (Tunisia) and the Rhône river delta in the Camargue region (France).

Das Projekt verfolgt das Ziel, empirisch fundierte und gesellschaftlich tragfähige Politiken zu identifizieren, die politische Entscheidungsträger*innen bei der sozial gerechten Regulierung und Gestaltung von Vermögensverhältnissen unterstützen. Es ist eines von 18 Leadprojekten des Sonderforschungszentrums des Deutschen Instituts für Interdisziplinäre Sozialpolitikforschung (DIFIS-SOFO).
This project aims to identify empirically based and socially acceptable policies which support political stakeholders in regulating and governing wealth relations in ways that are socially just. It is one of 18 lead projects of the collaborative research centre of the German Institute for Interdisciplinary Social Policy Research (DIFIS-SOFO).

Metaphors reveal how we interact with machines, what desires and fears we share, and how they interfere in our lives. Collaborating with artists and theorists, the project explores narratives and imaginations of the digital. It is part of the Medienkunstfellows programme of Medienwerk NRW.
