The workshop brings together selected experts from medicine, public health, environmental sciences and related disciplines to explore current challenges and future opportunities at the interface of environment and health.
Against the backdrop of a highly industrialised region, the event aims to strengthen interdisciplinary exchange across institutions and to identify common priorities for research, innovation and public health strategies in the Ruhr area. The programme includes keynote lectures, thematic cluster sessions, flash talks and interactive workshop phases focusing on environmental health protection, medicine, environmental sciences and social determinants of health.
